Holy cow some of the stuff I saw there was amazing. I'll post some pictures later on as I download them off the camera. All I have to say is that the Camaro is back baby and the Challenger is amazing!!! Although I will say that the Saab Aero-X was something I never expected to see, ever! Amazing looking beast that thing is. If you have a chance to go, I highly recommend it.

That Aero-X looks like those old Bradley VW kit cars...

I saw the Camaro in Toronto...didn't impress me. That new Suzuki van, however...*woah*

That new Lancer looks pretty sweet. I remember Autocar doing a bit on it a while back.

I really like the Challenger concept and I can just say that not only do I fit in the Cobalt SS Coupe and the Miata but I will own them at some point in time.

I have no idea what any of those cars are. The Challenger the Dodge?

See, I live in Europe, where we get good cars :p

They completely ruined the audi TT, and the new bmw is really ugly, like all the new bmws.

What size engine is in it? How much bhp/torque does it give?

6.1 L Hemi V8. I don't remember all the specs that the woman said at the auto show, I was "distracted" but I think it was over 400 horses.

I know it'll do a 1/4 mile in 13 something, perhaps as awesome as my favorite car, the 1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS6.

Yeah, but at the end of the day thats a 6.1 litre engine only producing 425bhp.

Look at a 6.5L Merc SL 65 (V12) ....612bhp. Thats more or less 200bhp from the extra 0.4 litres. And 0 - 60 half a second quicker than the Dodge.

Or a BMW Z4 M. 3.2L...343bhp. 2.9L less and only a drop of 80bhp. Think of the weight saving in the nose, so it knows how to go round a corner properly ;) . And it does 0-60 in 5 seconds, only half a second slower than the Challenger.

Just seems to me that the American manufacturers don't put alot of effort into trying to get anything much from their engines, and don't put alot of consideration into how the extra weight up front will affect the handling of their cars...

All that weight is good when you hit that BMW or Merc and tear through it like it's a sardine can.

Accidents do happen. I wonder what the Merc could do without the governor on it or rather what they could do with a V12 inside the Challenger or Camaro.

I remember reading one time that Merc insiders reckon the SL 65 can do about 215mph without the restrictor.

I wouldn't doubt it. The Caddy race car is something impressive like that and hell Stock Cars do that and they're actually 100x safer than regular cars, even driving that fast, irony isn't it.

The one I think I'm probably most impressed by (ever) was the Bentley Continental Flying Spur (a two tonne 4 door saloon) doing 206mph round a bowl for Autocar, with four men on board and with the air conditioning on. That's where you really just don't care what the price is...it's just incredible.

That is definitely impressive. I can't argue that one. I'm not a Bently fan myself but that is pretty nice. V12 with 552HP.

I would love to see what these ethanol powered cars are capable of, especially the Saab Aero-X, my personal fav of the bunch.
