I was watching the g-force visulatizer on itunes, playing Sufjan Steven's Illinois, the song Chicago.

All of a sudden, a bird appears to me. That bird is rent in three by two read birds, tearing through the great blue bird. Those birds circle, and the two become the three, rotating in a circle the three around the one. The three becomes two, the two become one, then the one turns into the cross. The cross vibrates with a great voice surrounded by a chorus. The cross seperates the two and then the two become a gaitway, whch leads into oblivion. The oblivion turns black and becomes violent. The three reappear again and cirlce till it becomes tranquil white.

I don't know what the g-force visualizer is, but if it is something that makes random effects, that maybe... just maybe... could explain your "vision."

Pretty obvious. There are no omens and if there were you yourself interperate their meaning.

I could have a go.

To me, the blue bird symbolises nature and the world. At the beginning, nature is a whole, living thing. The two red birds are the conscious forces within existence; namely, man and society. They have a separate existence to that of nature, and reside outside of it, though they are inseparably linked to it.

In their attempt to understand it, man and society split nature up into various pieces, trying to see how each of the pieces work. And during this process, society is divided as each group has their own views as to how the whole and parts work.

Eventually, they find a potential unifying explanation of this nature. This is represented by the Cross, which can equally mean Christianity or simply religion in general. As to be expected, however, religion itself divides. It cannot maintain itself as a single unit and has no real reason to. So it is divided as once again we seek to find the underlying explanation of the Cross. And between each of these explanations - the part that links each of the sub-religions - lies the path to truth, or enlightenment.

To begin with, this path is a dangerous, aggressive thing. To try to approach it is to be sucked in and devoured. The more direct social result of this is particularly obvious in the light of modern fundamentalism. It takes the approach of this truth by all society and every individual, both as separate entities and as a co-operative unit (hence the encirclement), to tame it and reveal the final, dazzling path to it.

Hooray for artistic license? ^^;

That's good, but don't visions usually have a personal meaning?
Your interpretation feels as if it follows more of a generalization of human history.

I had a semi-religous experience too. A program on TWO different computers(not in any way connected to each other) displayed the exact same problem at the exact same time. And after some time, it simply resolved itself! And I didn't do anything to try to fix it! Must have been a small curse or something.

In theory you are correct.

In reality though, I've woken up the next day definitely having seen the bottom of too many beer glasses the night before. :p

that's never happened to me. then again, there aren't many nights where i stick to just beer. the only night where i woke up in the morning regretting drinking so much beer was the morning after drinking as much guinness as other beer. but in that situation, i don't think it counts.

Well, that's what I'm getting from it. The personal interpretation if you like is that it's the way in which the religions work together, not their differences, that matters eventually. It doesn't matter where you side, as long as you examine things for yourself and work with those around you even where you disagree with them. After all, if everyone believed the same thing, there'd be no progress.
