I think it's high time people got over their hangups and just learned to love gun culture. I mean, come on. My toddlers are growing out of their scale-model, ball-bearing firing trebuchets, but they're still too young to be enthused by my love of Samurai lore. If only we gave peace a chance. Really, that's the problem. If - i don't know - people stopped like making all the guns, in the gun factories, and took that money and spent it on the children, well soon there'd be no more wars, or corporate greed exploiting the africa with aparthied or animals. And there'd be love and understanding, and we'd know that we are all - underneath - one big human family spinning through space on a big blue marble.

How can anyone possibly think that the state should not involve itself in their life. The state is just a representation of the society that we are part of, and as such it is inevitably going to impact on us. If this is the case, and it is, then the impact should be one that is for the benefit of those that need this the most. The poor and unemployed of our nation deserve to be given the same chance as everyone else. For this to happen we have to eliminate the exorbitant inequalities that the capitalist free market system creates.

One effective way of levelling out the distribution of wealth is to use a progressive tax system to pay for widescale social benefits. This way the very few who earn ridiculous amounts will have large tax bills, which are of low significance to them due to the marginal value per currency unit to them being so low, which will fund healthcare, housing, communications, essential utilities and a living wage for those less fortunate.

Experience is worthless.

Human life is despensible.

Autonomy is a thing of the past.

I'm tired of all these whiny godless liberals droning on and on about how Iraq is "war for oil". Saddam had WMDs. He was a direct threat to us. Our troops have brought freedom and democracy to Iraq, and if our President, in his wisdom, decides the force is necessary to halt Iran's nuclear program, then I'm all for it, and those who would criticize would do well to remember to watch what they say.

Individual rights are a hippy-liberal concept designed to bring down generations of tradition. We must fight to prevent them from destabalizing our society. No woman should be allowed to murder a growing life within her! Godless atheists and pagan heretics should either convert to christianity or leave, since America is a Christian nation. Homosexuals should be sent to concentration camps and reeducated so that they conform to society's standards. And most of all, we shouldn't let people say just anything. There are some things that you just shouldn't say. If people badmouth the president, or refuse to be properly patriotic, we ought to toss them in jail.
