This would be equivalent to a ballad, I guess, but slow 4/4 time would be best. There are some rather high notes in the way I hear it in my head.

For you, I will do it for free. Send me the lyrics. You already know I can write music (from the whatcha sing like thread) of many types.
I would be more than happy to do it, but you have to promise me a recording of your granddaughter singing it. :)
I'd give it a shot, but I expect others can do it far better.
