Sudan is supporting rebels in Chad and trying to destabilize the government there. Chad is expelling the Sudanese ambassador and his staff and is threatening to expell all the refugees from the Sudanese civil war.

This doesn't look good for east Africa. Or Africa in general seeing as they only recently got out of a major conflict (Zaire).

When is there not a war in Africa? This may seem callous but honestly who really cares anymore?

Ehhh a return to imperialism is the only way to help Africa now. They're too destabalized to ever go back without a show of force.

I'm backing Chad. Why? Because Sudan is genocidal, and because there's a really gay guy at my school named Chad. Any nation named after someone that gay better win some fucking wars.

Actually they're killing alot of Muslims in Darfur as well. The atrocities during the war between Northern and Southern Sudan were mainly perpetrated by the Muslim North against the Christians and Animists in the South. You're getting your Sudanese genocides confused, I think.

Sudan has an amry of 100,000 plus. It air force has jet fighters/helicopter gunships and transport aircraft.

They have 100s of tanks and chemical weapons.

Chad has NO tanks or air force!

They used to rely on the French air force to attack rebels.

As the Chadian government is doing battle with rebels who have attacked the capital city only this week, they have NO chance should the Sudanese attack them and invade with a full force.

If war does break out, I will expect to see Chad become a province of Sudan, since Sudan is so much more stronger.

Chad is stupid if it wants war with sudan, for they have no means to fight them.

A lesson here, only ever fight a war from a position of strength!

Not entirely true: Chad has 60 tanks (mainly T-55), 2 combat aircraft (PC-7) and 2 armed helicopters (Mi-25V). They have about 30,000 troops, which could probably become 300,000 easily during wartime.
