So I was out walking this evening and found that the clouds near my house were taking formations that I'd never seen before. Naturally, I got my dad to take pictures.
So, what sort of air currents cause clouds to do this?

why would i lie? if i thought it was crap i just wouldn't say anything at all and pretend not to have seen it... no, i was going for something similar with the red effect on the clouds but it didn't work when the they went just red and black (and no longer looked like, well... clouds). granted its a different picture, but nonetheless i meant it :)
Wow....cool New Zealand has weird clouds!

Hehehe, that's what I thought - until I saw that Kiwi-Kiwi has just been messing with our heads and actually lives in Nova Scotia. :p
But yeah, I can't remember ever seeing clouds like that, very freaky.
Also very depressing, because I had to do climatology as part of my geography major, and things like this always frustratingly remind me how little I remember from that. Damn.

In that case, :fluffle:
And I was trying that too, then I just gave up and used a filter.

Those clouds are cirrus clouds, made up of small ice crystals high up in the atmosphere.

None of my family have ever seen clouds like that. I mean, I've seen some weird clouds, but never that weird. Some of them actually formed shapes like hollow bowls. They were moving pretty damn fast, too.

Which is kind of funny, because they looked abnormally close. Crazy optical illusions.

Isn't that the same place that had the underwater UFO's? What are you guys doing up there?

If by 'underwater UFO's' you mean 'submarines that don't work', then yes maybe.
I had spontaneously decided to blame this on the Great Evil that I have decided is buried on Oak Island.
