Okay, I consider myself challenged. The challenge? To create the dumbest thread ever. However, there would have to be a few rules:

First: It has to remain in general. It can't be moved to Spam.
Second: It can't be locked. I'm looking to start a legitimate thread that is as dumb as possible.


Think I can do it? Any ideas? More to the point, any tips on what can be dumb enough while still passing the mod litmus test? Any advice from mods?

I'm leaning toward pet politics. I have a theory that cats are republicans and dogs are democrats. What do you think?

Cats are most certainly Democrats. Dogs are too loyal to be Democrats--in some ways, they remind me of the religious right, loyally voting the same way even though they rarely get anything out of it.

Besides, I own two cats, and no way are they Republican. They're named after poets, for crying out loud. :D

They should make this a sticky and just allow constant spam here. Then there would be a place to spam and when people have the urge they could get it done in this thread. Also, after a few years if we don't end up back in the stoneage from resource depletion, this will be sort of a history of the place because everyone will probably post in here at least once.
