You guys have any decent suggestions for Operation Bagration?

I have to admit my knowledge is very basic over it and the one book I found online is rated as an ok summary but good to show how Hitler basically mucked it up.

Operation Bagration by Steven Zaloga

Anyhow any good reads or is it all online?

Thanks

"Hitler's Greatest Defeat" by Paul Adair is universally reviewed online as a particularly detailed study. I have been meaning to buy it actually.

Here is a good study of the Manchurian Offensive (http://www-cgsc.army.mil/carl/resources/csi/glantz3/glantz3.asp) and some more from the same source (http://www-cgsc.army.mil/carl/resources/csi/glantz4/glantz4.asp). Very detailed, but very dry and therefore obscure. Unfortunately, Eastern Front studies with this level of detail will never sell commercially because the events have been successfully suppressed in both the West and East for political reasons. :(

Stalingrad is the only story that will ever be known, and even that in the most vague of terms.

You would think after 60 years we would be more open about the war. Even my granddad once remarked that we don't know the full picture.

Ahh well. Thanks for the title and the links. I am reading the links first. :)
