Ok, Im at it again. Another mind bender for you philosophers out there. Love, the ultimate word. Who thinks they have love nailed, whos got a definition that will expand our minds? Obviously, I have my own answer, but I love to see what others think. So go ahead, tell me what love is, how do you find it, what does it mean, and how does it manifest itself?

Aye, that too.
He raised a sigh so piteous and profound,
That it did seem to shatter all his bulk,
And end his being. That done, he lets me go;
And, with his head over his shoulder turned,
He seem'd to find his way without his eyes;
For out o' doors he went without their help,
And, to the last, bended their light on me.

While We're In Love
While we're in love we'll bleed each other dry.
We'll hold each other close.
We'll make each other cry.
While we're in love we'll get what we deserve
Until we lose our faith,
Until we lose our nerve.
We know it won't last forever.
'Cause we're not meant to be together.
Make the best of a bad situation.
Face the fear and the desperation.
While we're in love.
While we're in love.
While we're in love we'll drag ourselves around.
We'll hold each other up.
We'll tear each other down.
We know it won't last forever.
'Cause we're not meant to be together.
Make the best of a bad situation.
Face the fear and the desperation.
While we're in love.

Love is pain and sacrifice but it is also Joy and wealth. In love you will be taken from without limit and take without limit. You will be hurt and hurt others without limit. love will pass through day of treachery and night of resignation to stand befor you as it should: Undwindeled and steadfast.

But to love and be loved back is not that something to strive for? a family will love you within certian lomits but to have someone who will ignore your past and love you unconditionaly.... now that is to be strived for.

Humanity is faulty because it is comprised of humans and humans are falible. but to loose faith in what you are is to lose faith in the futur. Love will make you blind but if you let it it will also open your eyes.

I've lost faith in humanity too (is that a common disease among 16-17 year olds? So it seems). The main difference is that I never had faith in love in the first place. It's a lot like drug abuse: kind of silly, gives both pleasure and pain, really your choice but I wouldn't do it.
Talk about kickass analogies. ;)
