This is in the "Watcha Sing Like" thread, but it may not have been seen by that many people. Of course, it simply could have been ignored, and that's fine. However, I did make a promise to a number of people that once I had some songs uploaded, I would make them available and free to all. So, shamelessly, I offer again to the NS Generalites of the world, the following songs. Do with them what you will!

Please keep in mind that some of these recording are from 2000, and all are first-run-as-is recordings. So when I go a bit out of key...or make mistakes that non-Spanish speakers won't notice but nonetheless haunt me...FORGIVE ME!!! My voice is particularly timid and soft (and both too high or too low compared to how I now sing...what the hell?) in the 2000 recordings. This has reminded me that it's high time I re-recorded these songs, along with the ones I've learned since. I can honestly say my voice has gotten a lot stronger and more confident. But at some point I'll put my mp3s where my mouth is.

So I transcribed the song phonetically, and I know I'm making tonnes of errors in pronunciation. On top of that, I only have a very general sense of what I'm saying since I've never seen the written lyrics. Any speakers of Portuguese who can forgive my terrible pronunciation and think they can figure out the lyrics, could you please write them out for me so I can fix my errors?

I've been online so sketchily lately, and bitchy to boot, that I didn't think I could reply in the normal way I would like to. I've got emails piling up too...but I don't want to give them curt attention:)

For those having trouble with downloads, it only lets one person download at a time, so that might be why. I'm not sure if it says so in English, because it's all in German on mine.

Yeah, you have to 'wait in line'...but I've never had problems downloading from rapidshare. Some people were mentioning in other threads that they couldn't though, and I'm not sure why:(

Then I scrolled down and it told me that there were too many other people downloading it so I had to wait. The ticket thing is just to harass you into getting a premium account.

Lies! It keeps saying too many people are downloading it! Lies I say! I don't think it's letting ANYONE download! Does anyone have somewhere I could host these songs that doesn't bullshit you and stop you from downloading???
