Thinking about it, it's kind of funny. I'm a deeply sarcastic and cynical person at heart, I don't like cute things as a general rule. They normally either make me want to throw up or really, really creep me out.
But post a picture of a kitten and I go all soft and can just about stop myself from going "Awwwww..." at my monitor. Give me a real kitten and I'll be a completely happy person. Weird. Cats must have some magical power of sorts, some form of telepathy, influencing my subconscience....
