I guess the Bahamas don't need our money. It's kinda like with Oprah and the store that wouldn't serve her. Once this gets around people will stop wanting to go there. I ashamed of the Bahamas. :(

it seems they are anti gay

there was a thing on some tv show that was on in the background the other day with rosie odonnel in it. she and her family sponsor a gay family cruise a couple times a year.

last time they stopped in the bahamas, there were anti-gay protesters at the dock.

No comparison. The movie is a gay love stroy and thus promotes the gay life style. Star Trek had a cast member who was gay but the program did not promote homosexuality.

Well, first it starts off as private, but after enough frags, it earns enough experience to be promoted to sergeant, lieutenant, captain, colonel, mayor, general, and then marshall.

probably just not hard enough in the proper directions. there are 3 things that cause people, particularly crazy american fundies, to become gay.

1) seeing people not being ashamed about being gay. this is the weakest attack, but forms a staging ground for future assaults.

2) watching a movie that doesn't condemn gay people as abominations unto god. this is much more dangerous, because surely god would not allow such a movie to be made if it wasn't right and just. an estimated 5% of all fundie gay-casualties have resulted from the media exposure of the existence of such movies alone.

3) gay marriage. it's the nookular weapon of the gay attack on our traditional stupid fucking values. mere knowledge that someone somewhere has married a person of the same sex as themselves is often enough to cause good christian fundies to leave their obedient and fruitful wives, move to san fran or key west, and sign up to help run the next pride parade.
