Is there any limit regarding the age to sell alcohol? I thought legistation only applied to purchasing it...

To make money?
Blasphemy!
Once you have it, you drink it! You don't sell it!

It's probably not directly a age limit on selling alcohol, but there's most likely an age limit for getting a license to sell alcohol.

Alcohol > money ?
Sell alcohol for lots of money. Buy more alcohol. Have money left over.
Selling alcohol = alcohol + money.
Now, where's a thumbs up smiley when you want it?

Money. But money without alcohol isn't as good as money with alcohol.

Silly Stalin. Buying alcohol is for people who don't know how to raid other people's booze at parties.

But you won't get any money because if you want to make profit you have to sell the alcohol for a higher price than you paid for it and then people won't buy it, as it cheaper somewhere else.

I'm 17 and I work in a pub collecting glasses and they won't let me serve anyone so I was just wondering what the age to serve is.

18. why?
though you can 'sell' it as as of 16 as a supermarket cashier if you get the ok from another employee who's over 18, i think. that's why the young 'uns keep yelling out and holding up the booze at the till sometimes :)
but soon i'll be old enough to drink in the states... woot! :p

Yeah, but if you really want to, getting booze under age is about as difficult as putting on a hat, is it not?
I mean, even the chavs can get it!

Well, yes. But that's just to get pissed for the night...people get suspicious (no matter how drunk they are) if you're walking out the door at the end of the party with a sack full of cans and bottles.
But you won't get any money because if you want to make profit you have to sell the alcohol for a higher price than you paid for it and then people won't buy it, as it cheaper somewhere else.
So buy it all, then everyone has to buy from you!
