How do the Arts enrich your life?

Curious Inquiry

This is a "water to a fish" kind of question. My life is the arts, but I can't always articulate their impact and influence.

I did a poll, because I like polls. I know it's incomplete. For instance, I left out cinema. If you're a filmmaker, I'd like you to post, too, please, as well as anyone else I missed.

So, what about you? What about the arts moves you, and why?

They make me feel inadequate. I already do, they just amplify it.

I attend musical performances, theatrical performances, dance performances, and I visit museums. I've also danced in performances before, although, I've been far too busy for any of that lately.

I have on several occasions attended screenings of early silent films with live improvised piano accompaniment. :)

So I think I pwn you all.

Did you ever know that you're my hero?

I'm getting to be a fan of writing... sort of an art, sort of not, depending on how you do it.

And if it has something to do with music, I have something to do with it.

I once saw an orchestra performing live to "Looney Tunes" cartoons . . .

Woot! That's two I missed! I'd say harder than just writing or drawing, since you do both. Thanks Dinaverg!
