Ever since I lost someone I was freinds with a few weeks ago, I've been having different reactions to thing. Like when I get mad or upset I get a fever. I also get tired and get a sore neck too..

These reactions are new to me and I'm worried I might have something wrong with me.. Are these things due to stress.. or something worse?

It's probably what would be called psychosomatic illness. It's very common...I tend to have stomach or sinus problems when I'm very very stressed.

Sorry to hear about your friend. I have heard of things like this before but the explanation might seem rather crazy, especially if you aren't spiritual.

Crazy nutball explanation: spirits have been known to attach themselves to to people that they are very close to when they die (usually though it is due to a violent death or when the person dying really doesnt want to go yet). When they do it, they sort of feed off of the energy of the living person and can cause them many mental or even physical ailments. There are shamans and witches that can perform an extraction and help them with their transition back to Source.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend.

I have no medical experience but from things I've read these could be symptoms of anything. It could be caused by stress, you could be having imaginary illness that is beginning to really affect you (a "what if I'm next?" illness) or you could truly be ill (virus or something). I would advise you to see a doctor if these symptoms continue. Better safe than sorry. He can always refer you to someone else or tell you to go home.

sorry about your friend. :(

I am going with one of two theorys, one being more likely than the other, but the same advice fits for both.

1) you are stressed out, and you haven't been sleeping well, which weakens your immune system and you caught a virus

2) it's spring and you are sick because it's spring

advice
keep yourself well hydrated, rest when you can, if you don't feel better in 3 days or so, go to the doctor.

It's just a stress syndrome, I'm sure. A general heading of illnesses called psychosomatic disorders covers medical problems resulting from periods of high stress and other mental or emotional issues. The fever thing is interesting, though: usually, stress lowers the effectiveness of one's immune system, which is what fevers are a part of.
