NEW YORK - Scientists have caught a fossil fish in the act of adapting toward a life on land, a discovery that sheds new light one of the greatest transformations in the history of animals.
Researchers have long known that fish evolved into the first creatures on land with four legs and backbones more than 365 million years ago, but they’ve had precious little fossil evidence to document how it happened.
The new find of several specimens looks more like a land-dweller than the few other fossil fish known from the transitional period, and researchers speculate that it may have taken brief excursions out of the water.

You fish it, but when you put it in the boat you have to hunt it, otherwise it'll run away.

Haha. I looked at that sentence before I posted it, and that's exactly what I thought. So I tried to rephrase it, but got lazy and figured that no would comment. Way to prove me wrong.

Creationists won't care about this new discovery. They will just say it was a weird species of fish, but not a transitional species between fish and land animals. After all, you didn't physically see the fish evolve into a land animal. Funny thing is nobody ever saw Jeffrey Dahmer kill anyone, but he still got locked up.

But most would not substitute the teaching of creationism for the teaching of evolution in public schools.
But like i said..most polls are just crap
Said 37% would, bout 111 million. 65% want both, so that's like 195 million. How crappy can a poll be for it note to be a sizable percent? Sides, 15 million would still be too many if you ask me.

The overland wriggling of Clarias spp. is not "walking" in the terrestrial tetrapod sense:
The walking catfish (Clarias batrachus), recently introduced into southern Florida, uses its pectoral-fin spines as anchors to prevent jackknifing as its body musculature produces snakelike movements and can progress remarkable distances over dry land.
Another odd catfish, the so-called walking catfish, Clarias batrachus, originally occurred in eastern India and Southeast Asia. In 1968, it was discovered near Boca Raton, Florida, following its import by tropical-fish dealers. Its maximum length is 56 cm (22 in). In "walking" to areas of deeper water in dry spells, this catfish moves by a slithering motion combined with a thrashing of its tail. In addition, a stout spine in each pectoral fin digs into the ground to help balance and propel the fish. It is able to breathe air by means of a modified gill arch that forms an air chamber.
Kindly explain how this (or even existence of a genuine "walking fish") "debunk[s] evolution."
