Do you have a blog? If so, what's it about? Mine's about my life and the world (hence the name of the blog) - I think it's quite random really.
It goes from a random post about what I'm doing, to a post about a journey of over 200 miles (which I tried to do enturely by pushbike), all the way through to a post about dolphins possibly being Angels... and more :)
Feel free to comment on the articles! http://www.ketchupandcurry.blogspot.com :D
I find it quite interesting myself

Yes... but it's all of personal pictures. No sharing. :p
There are some NSers that blog about NS and other stuff....
Start from Sirocco's (http://siroccothemod.blogspot.com/) and just move around and you'll find most of them I bet.

I have 2, a personal one that's for my family to read, it's about what the kids are up to, and stuff, it keeps the in-laws from bothering us.
I have another about my daughters' auto-immune disorder, it's more informational and stuff.
Got one. I've had to resort protecting the posts I make though, because someone that wasn't supposed to be looking did anyway.

Oh, btw, what became of your husband's blog/boss problems?
And no, I don't have a blog. Don't intend to get one, either.
Sounds like what happened with my Livejournal...Does it? My ex told me she was finished with me and that I no longer really featured in her thoughts. Then I found out why she was always so pissed at me: She'd been reading what I really thought of her when I was acting nice. I didn't expect that (though there were some things I omitted only because I absolutely didn't want her finding those out under any circumstances).
One of the reasons why I can no longer combat paranoia so well. What's the use if reality manages to trump paranoia almost every time? :p

still finding out. He blogged about freedom of speech and accepting the consequences of your actions, and standing up for your right to think for yourself..... so I don't know how that's going to go over. He did delete a lot of stuff off of his page, but I am still trying to figure out what all is missing, I doubt that one has much to do with the other, he deletes stuff from time to time just to tidy up.

Heh...
My story is a little different.
It of course does involve an ex, though in my case, it's an ex-boyfriend.
He had known about my LJ, and did read it frequently and it was from there that he found a link to his sister's LJ. He told me he used it to spy on her, so I turned on him and told her the truth.
She changed it twice and he kept using my LJ to find out what she was doing (a really big sibling rivalry).
After we broke up, he continued to go there for a while, though came as an anonymous inidividual (though did a lousy job of hiding his true ID) and flamed my LJ because I made a litany of incriminating posts that his sister could see because she and I were still on talking terms.
He then attacked one of my friends because she was Muslim...
I had contemplated retaliating with a nasty comment about him being a gypsy, but I refrained, figuring my over-the-top post about a fraction of his shortcomings was enough...
<snip>Yeah. I use Xanga, so it doesn't really show up who's looking at your site, and only other Xanga users can post comments. There's also a nice protected posting function that restricts the visibility of the posts. Right now, the only posts she can read are the ones from before I found out and the ones where I mention things I'm sure she doesn't want to hear or be reminded of.

same with LJ; I just wanted to publically lampoon him on his various shortcomings.
same with LJ; I just wanted to publically lampoon him on his various shortcomings.I'm not malicious enough to do that. I've set my public posts up like landmines rather than a sword. If she strays somewhere she shouldn't, its her own fault if she reads things she doesn't want to hear.
But posting things such as "She's bad in bed" or so, even if they were true, feels like it's beneath me...

I did as well.. but I had to thin it out... it does work and that way we don't need to write it put again.
I tried setting up a blog awhile back. It has a grand total of 2 entries. The first stating that I'd try not to make it as lame as other blogs I'd seen. The 2nd says that the first post was a lie.
if you don't want anyone to read your thoughts online, then don't post it on the blog..
i don't understand why ppl get upset over other people reading their stuff if they post it online.

Yeah, but blogs are addicting, especially once you start adding strangers to your friends list...like one girl's blog I found (or she found me, I don't remember) and we ended up being friends for like two years since we were both struggling in honors and AP courses, even if we were in different states. We even sent each other postcards, and exchanged cell phone numbers cause we both had area code-less pre-paid phones. We talked a lot and even though we never techinically met we were really good friends.
So when I overheard one of my friends from school saying really bad things behind my best-friend's back, I wanted my blog friends' advice since they were the only people I trusted who could see things completly objectively (and because at the time I hardly ever bothered to use e-mail since most of what I needed to tell people quickly could either be said in person or aim so much quicker)
The only problem with that is that another friend of the friend I overheard found my blog through a s/n of mine, told her about it and suddenly I became the bad guy because I had no proof of what I had written, and I hadn't told my best-friend what I'd overheard.
Now that was a couple of years ago, and me and my blog friend are mostly out of touch (my fault, not hers since I became pretty paranoid and depressed after that), but I can't say that I necessarily would have done anything differently in retrospect except get a better hidden s/n.
We all need to speak or rant to someone objective sometimes about the people in our lives be it friends or signifigant others...and blogs let people put down their private thoughts a helluva better than a regular paper-and-pen journal would since they're easier to find and more damning since they're permanent.

My ideas aren't coherent and I don't stick with anything, so no, no blog.
I have a blog (http://360.yahoo.com/beatnik75) created as a joke between people in my office. I just make some crappy picture in MS Paint and post it. I think the fact the art sucks makes it funnier, but since most people outside of an office environment wouldn't get it, it's not so big a blog.
I generally don't like blogs and support the bomb the blogosphere (http://www.questionablecontent.net/) movement.
I had a blog, but I got bored of having nothing to say. I wonder if it's still there or if they've had the sense to deat it?

I go through phases. Sometimes it becomes political commentary blog, other times it is a boring "what I did today" type deal.
I don't post anything extremely personal, because, you know...it is the WORLD WIDE WEB. To be honest, I really couldn't tell you why I even have it...despite the fact that I've been updating it semi-regularly for two years.
I think I'm an attention whore in denial.

I use a modified version of tiddlywiki (http://www.tiddlywiki.com/) for notes, diary etc.
Of course, the great advantage of this script is that I can take it with me on an usb stick instead of publishing it online :p
I do. You wouldn't be interested. I did an entry entirely composed of group in-jokes recently, and the rest's just whining. What else are you going to use the internet to vent? Sexual Frustration, eh? I find that hilarious!

Yes, I do. It has hundreds of pictures, and I routinely update with a different video. I also write entries every few days. I started working on it regularly in September, when I moved away to school. It was supposed to be a way to keep my pals back home up to date, but the readership seems mostly to be the ones who are with me here at uni (Odd, huh?) as well as family members.

P.S.: I do not object to other folks looking at it, it is open to the world, but I imagine you would find my life dull; and since you do not know my friends and I, the pictures would be of marginal interest (Although I do have a few nice landscapes). Happy Link (http://spaces.msn.com/members/kies/). If you do visit, and have an MSN account, please leave a message so I know you were there.
