Requiem for a Dream is an INCREDIBLE movie. Everyone's gotta see it.
Blow is fantastic.
Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels is AWESOME.
And I'm always entertained by Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, incredible flick.
And I just recently discovered Pirates of the Caribbean. Not the most awesome movie ever, but it was a fun movie, and I sure as hell enjoyed it.

I'd have to think a bit more to throw another down...

Catch me if you Can - Even though I despise that wimpy little shit, Leo DeCap, it was an awesome performance.

i remember a thread like this a couple of years ago. this one is not long enough to be likely a resurection of it so here goes:

my three favorites of all time were

dark crystal (first really believably alien alienness, first use of fairlight 9000)
barbarella (the long pre-public release version. ok so it's soft porn. so what.)
fantasia (1954 uncut)

most recent movie i've seen in a movie house was men in black (the first one)
perfectly good flick, enjoyed, but movies have just gotten way too expensive

most recently viewed at home on vcr that had been in movie houses:
ice age (don't understand why it HAD to have humans for poiniance)
and before that
mononke hime (w/subtitles, not translated version)

lots of other good one's i've seen and liked

Uh...it'd be the same piece of Michael Crichton-derived crap, but with a less annoying soundtrack? Jeez, that main theme is grating! The only score for a film I found more offensive was the minimalist piece of crap that underscored Eyes Wide Shut. I mean, half steps five octaves apart over and over? Even Jaws went on after a bit of that.
