Arlovski vs. Silvia

It's almost time for UFC 59. Andrei Arlovski will be fighting Tim Silvia for the Heavyweight title. I'm rooting for Arlovski. I think he's the better fighter, but Silvia's tough as hell. He got his arm broken by an arm bar in a previous match and wanted to keep on fighting. It should be good. Any UFC fans here? Any predictions?

I wanna go see a match live... that would rock.
I really don't follow the fighters much though. My friend from England is into martial arts and likes PRIDE more than UFC (though he wants to fight in UFC). He says that the top UFC fighter can't make it past the second round in PRIDE. The videos he showed me were pretty hardcore. Theres this ex KGB Russian dude that is major scary.

I remember a conversation in the martial arts school that I used to attend where one of the instructors said that someday someone is going to die on pay per view in one of the Pride matches. From what I've heard they allow stomping or kicking the guy on the ground, but I've never watched a Pride match. I'm more of a UFC fan.

Meh, it didn't seem too much different from a UFC fight except for when the winner kicked the loser in the head while he was down. If you can track down a video of the UFC fight between Forrest Griffin and Steven Bonner you're in for a treat. It's one of the best fights I've ever seen. Non stop action and both guys have tremendous heart. Just when you think one of them is too hurt or tired to continue he comes back and hurts the other guy.
