They do in gay porn. You rarely see them putting it on, but you see them wearing it.

Except in "bare backing" movies of course. But that is a small specialty market. I so don't understand those guys.

They wear condoms more and more often in porn, after losing some porn stars to AIDS.
Still, some directors are apparently unwilling to let their stars wear them. They feel that the visual is better without a condom.

Everything is being done to stop it, except perhaps for strict condom use, which is only really practised by Wicked and Vivid.

All actors and actresses must have a valid AIDS tests from a reputable source from the last thirty days. If anyone has an AIDS scare, they are quarantined for up to four months (no scenes) and all the people they have worked with since their last "real" test are also tested and perhaps quarantined.

There have been 20-30 AIDS cases in California in the sex industry since Brooke Ashley, including the man who may or may not have given her AIDS, Marc Wallice. He also gave Tricia Devereaux and Barbara Doll AIDS (rumored). Sexy Leena may or may not have AIDS too. Poor, gorgeous Kayla Marie tested positive a few weeks ago.

Most of the porn stars that have tested positive are lesser-known ones. For the full stories and lists, you can go to www.avn.com and search for AIDS stories, and they have all of them there.

Witth the anal poundings, the double-anals, the DPs, the gangbangs, the creampies (cumming inside) and the commonly known drug use in the industry (less than a third of them but that's enough), there are always going to be cases, but they do well to contain them, and usually only 20 or 30 guys are ever called up to do scenes, all of whom are trusted and well known (which was why it was such a big deal that Marc Wallice tested positive and may or may not have faked his tests.

There are agencies that hire AIDS angels to be in movies as directors, advisors, or non-sex partners - like Brooke Ashley recently did a Bukkake movie. She was so nasty and hot and it's such a shame... I'd still sleep with her. :-)

It's a hell of a lot more dangerous to sleep with a girl from a nightclub or bar than with a pornstar. They're so hygeinic, so well tested, and they only have sex with the same 20-30 guys. It is SO hard to fuck a pornstar outside of her industry because they get enough sex, and are often very romantic girls who do not want to be all about sex in their private lives. I've dated one or two - both had herpes, by the way, so that's pretty widespread - and they are very sensitive and complex girls, like most girls are, and they are very choosy about out-of-work sex partners.

I dunno about YOU, Dan, but we don't "take it off" until not only am I sure that I'm in a monogamous relationship (check one), but that I'm ready to accept the risk and responsibility of getting pregnant, should that occur (still in the works). But that's a topic for another thread.
