She tried to enter the House w/o ID, was stopped and hit an officer.
Her supporters are trying to play the race and sexual assault cards at the same time.
I'm sure there was video of the incident.

I doubt there's video--if there were, it would have been all over the news the day this occurred.
As to the race card, well, maybe it needs to be played. Let the investigation run its course. My first comment on the first thread that dealt with the matter asked "would she have been stopped if she was a middle-aged or older white man?" and I think it's a legitimate question.

There is video but they are not releasing it. She should be charged. If anyone here punched a cop they'd be charged.

If that person wasn't wearing their ID, like she was supposed to, and then didn't stop when asked, the officer better have stopped them.
Either way, she hit the officer, which is an offense by itself.

Hello! She hit a cop. You don't hit cops. Not to mention she wasn't wearing her ID and failed to stop when told to do so. I don't see what race has to do with this case whatsoever. The Race card is vastly overplayed.
And to answer your closing question, the answer would be yes.

The question is should not would. If it is policy to stop and identify anyone passing through, she is still in the wrong. It doesn't matter for her whether or not the officers would have given a free pass to someone else.
She hit a cop. Boo-hoo, so what? She's black, so that automatically makes her immune to the law. If you punish her, you are discriminating against blacks as a whole. Racist pricks.

She should be considered lucky that she's not dead... I'm surprised that the officer didn't just shoot this future ex-representative.

The officer is lucky he didn't stop Cindy's dad, Billy. Billy McKinney was a Georgia State legislator and some of his more famous oratory were threats of 'cutting' other legislators on the House floor.
And Cindy will never have trouble with her re-elections. See the first paragraph for a description of her campaign manager.

If she is arrested and found guilty, she won't be allowed back in the house.

Oh, I wouldn't doubt she has the support for reelection... The problem is, the crime is a felony, if she is charged with it and convicted, she may have tons and tons of support, but she would be constitutionally ineligible for the office (and thus unable to run) for a minimum of 7 years.
What nimrods outcry as "racial profilling" and "inappropriate touching" is called "normal police operations to control entry to secure buildings by stopping non identified persons entering, and detaining those with any and all necessary force who attempt to break security"...
She did not have ID displayed...
She ignored repeated requests by a uniformed officer in charge of controlling access to the building, to stop...
And then hits the officer after he reaches a point where it requires using more force to prevent this appearant break in security.

Apparently, she hit him with a cell phone. That could be assault with a weapon

I don't think a jury of her peers in DC will ever find her guilty. It's like expecting O.J. to hang. After all, it was a _racist_ assault on a member of Congress.

Only the third sentence.
Just typical of the kind of people we have in washington to "lead" us. Rules are made for Suckers and Plebes, not the rarefied likes of one of the 535 members of the Legislature...
F*ck her. If I had tried a stunt like that I would have been tackled & shackled before I got to throw the first punch/cell phone.
She deserves to be made an example.

Anyone who knows anything about Mckinney isn't surprised by her claim of racial prejustice, it's all she has ever done. The "race card" is the only card in her hand.
Typical Democrat. you dont see republicans breaking the law. do you?
LMFAO!
1. Get yourself a newspaper and start reading it. I've lost track of all the Republican congressmen under investigation for one reason or another.
2. You have illustrated a key difference between Republicans and Democrats. The Republicans are better at covering up their lies...because they have more experience telling them.

This was either extreme irony or blindness on one eye. It is true that the Republican stance is more for law and order, but that doesn't automatically make their representatives lawful people (nor does a Democrat stance for public welfare make their representatives kind). You got to judge both sides by their actions (judging one side by its actions and the other by their good intentions isn't enough).
