Will you boycott Casino Royale because of Daniel craig?
I wont. I think craig is just what 007 needs. A nice handsome actor ( thats right I dont think hes ugly)

I won't boycott it, but I won't go out of my way to see it either. I haven't seen the last couple of Bond films either, so it's not like I feel I'm missing anything.

I was going to boycott it, but then I decided to give the new guy a chance, even though he looks in no way like a Bond, but then, I could be wrong, hence why I shall give him a chance. Plus can't break tradition, gone to see every Bond movie that has come out since I was five.

Casino Royale was a great book, so I'm interested in seeing how it is as a movie. I started reading the series and got stuck halfway through Moonraker. Moonraker. It just sounds funny the more you think of the title.
Its too far away

I'm not too worried about who will play bond but what about this:
"LONDON: James Bond filmmakers are done with the gadgets for the new Bond movie "Casino Royale" because audiences seem to be tired of the clichéd special effects.
Contactmusic.com reports that the new Bond, played by Daniel Craig, will be forced to rely on force to defeat the bad guys in "Casino Royale" to be released later in the year. "

Craig is far from the kind of person I'd prefer to see play Bond, but I think the whole fuss surrounding his casting is ludicrously over the top - give the bloke an opportunity to show you what he can or can't do! If the diehard Bond fans gave him a chance and then thought he was shite, I could maybe understand a bit better.
So no, I won't boycott it.

I'm vaguely interested to see what they make of the homoerotic torture scenes.

He's certainly a good actor, but he's not Bond. There are few actors at any one time who could play the role properly. Clive Owen, probably the best available, turned down the role. So they picked a skinny blond guy. A good actor, certainly, but not Bond. Moreover he can't drive stick.
Owen certainly did a good faux Bond in the Pink Panther.

You know the character was originally designed to be a non-descript blunt object employed by the government, hence the bland name "James Bond" and the fact that he was much, much more brutal a person in the books then in most of the movies. The fact that they are trying to work their way back to that with Casino Royale actually has me intrigued, so no... I won't boycott it by any means.
Then again, I thought Brosnan was the best Bond so yeah, I don't expect to be agreed with. Heh...

That thing about him only driving automatics was made up by the tabloids, as was much of the stuff about him. I dont think he really looks the part for bond, but boycotting the film would just be stupid. The only way to know how good he is as bond is to go see for yourself.
I always though ralph fiennes would be great as bond, probly never get to find out though.

Give the guy a chance, PLEASE.
That site dedicated to making his life a living hell is a disgrace to society and they should be ashamed of themselves for making such unnecessary and inflammatory comments. It makes me nauseated to read some of the offensive tripe they put on there.
Daniel Craig is a solid actor and he may not have the same qualities as other Bonds but did we witch-hunt the other four successors to the original? No, we didn't, at least not to this scale. It's ridiculous.
See the movie, THEN make up your mind.

no, couldn't care less to be honest. complaining about casting is boring and a waste of hot air. its not exactly hard to play the bond role anyway - you just need a rougueish smile and be at least moderately attractive, no acting ability required.

Nothing against Criag but I will never watch a Bond film again after the utter abortion they made with the Pierce Brosman series of JB films. Too dependent on special effects compared to classic Bond films.
