Hey i am just wondering if any of you have the time to give me opinions on my new program, just started it yesterday but it has quite a few features and more are going to be added soon, just want opinions and suggestions on what could be done to improve it. (by the way it is a webbrowser) :) Download (http://www.jcxp.net/forums/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=3831)
You will need winrar to unpack the files, I swear they are completly compatible with all windows xp machines and maybe some older OS, x64 is shady at the moment. As of time of posting link the files are perfectly clean of any virus/spyware/adware. Thanks for feedback.
UPDATED, the version above has been updated after receiving feedback of a few minor bugs. Please use and give feedback it is appreciated.

It can be whatever you want it to be baby... and it weighs in at 72k when unpacked from its rar and takes roughly 16mb memory running at full capacity...

interesting, though it doesn't appear to have many features and it seems to not work with some sites.
i'm guessing it's probably making use of ie's capabilities

It does use IE as a background so to speak, it is 6 hours work at the most so i know it has lots to be done that is what this thread is for, feedback and suggestions. :)

Well, I'm posting from from your web browser. It may be basic, but it's got one thing going for it - very fast.

Why is the 'go' button in cyrillic characters?
Does it just load IE's homepage? There's not much point having a homepage if you can't change it.

I like stuff that is fast :)
Erm in the help files i provided (free of charge i must add :p ) it states about the home page and how it uses IE homepage, i am going to add in options for favourites and a custom homepage, but i havent got round to that yet as it takes quite a lot more coding. But as of the moment it does use IE's but you can just change the IE homepage. :)
As for the go button it is the font Symbol and is like that because in Ms sans seriff the letters GO would not fit on the button... lol so erm that is going to be changed just not right now.

So it's an IE add-on really?

Ok ok my bad.. lol
And no it is not an addon, it runs without IE running so is in essance a seperate browser although it uses IE files to run. That is why it is so small to download (under 100k) as it uses external files. Pages load differently in this browser and should be quicker than IE6 & IE7 for looking at pages.

Hey guys . I just checked out the browser and found it quite okay . But I also program my own browsers and apps and games . All for free . Some are basic but some are more advanced .
Go to www.mationsbuds.co.nr , then go to the downloads section and find Mationsbuds Web Browser (Ver 0.1/0.2/0.3) . Of course 0.3 is the newest with the most features .

I use Visual Basic and C++ to program basic apps but for more complicated ones that require more advanced programming which I am still learning , I use Clickteam's Multimedia Fusion .

True . If I want to program a browser with advanced features , I would normally use Multimedia Fusion to do so because it makes it much much easier .

Since you failed to provide a linux version, I am also blessed by being stuck with firefox.:p
