This is outrageous. It would be a-ok if it was one of their crappy stupid shows like Squidbillies or The Oblongs, or even any of the less serious anime like Trigun, most of Cowboy Bebop, or Inuyasha. But Ghost in the Shell is bullshit, I hope their forums get spammed to death, assholes. This would be like doing the farting sounds on the Futurama episode where the dog waited outside the pizza place for Fry until it died.

This is outrageous. It would be a-ok if it was one of their crappy stupid shows like Squidbillies or The Oblongs, or even any of the less serious anime like Trigun, most of Cowboy Bebop, or Inuyasha. Except it wouldn't be nearly as funny with other shows because they're comedies anyway.

Still, the Chuck Norris episode of Sealab 2020 that they played beforehand redeems them for its sheer hilarity.

A funeral is an extreme example because that's real life. Although fart noises can lighten a dank mood, I agree with you that outsiders shouldn't supply them to poke fun. Sure, it's a serious episode, but it isn't real. It's different than adding fart noises to a funeral or the Holocaust or whatever else you may or may not invoke to make me look like a heartless bitch. Have fun, kids.

If they did this to any serious show, it would be funny because people take it so seriously. The moral of the story is:

Anyways, I found it quite enjoyable and filled with a few laughs.

They take two of the most serious shows on Adult Swim and put farts into it at random parts.

I mean, I am sure if they never did it for the wheelchair girl, none of you would be bitching.

So really, take a sock and shove it down your throat.

It is healthy comedy, and if you really want to watch Adult Swim then keep in mind they like to do strange things every so often. Like on April's Fools Days. Although they have only done this stuff twice, the Moustache's of 04 and the farts of 06 ( I've watched AS since it first aired ).

But then people were even bitching about Big O having a moustache.

Anyways, if you can't handle good health humour, then change the channel.

You don't pay for the programming, so don't pretend your word means jack shit to them.

I've an idea... most of us probably already have, that doesnt mean we've forgotten about it, because you know, its a thing called, memory.

We know what humor is. Though an hour of ceaseless farting in what is good programming is just stupid. Its potty humor and you shouldn't laugh about it.

So what if it sounds like super-wet explosive dirrahea? When the bird twitched in FMA....or with the loud chain farts when the girl in the wheelchair moved? Its just WRONG because it takes away the serious parts of the show.

FMA was already plagued with comedy in serious situations. Having a massive 40 second huge explosion of farting was funny...but was not the right kind. Or when he is talking about God and then rips a MASSIVE fart. It takes away the seriousness of it all.
GITS has LITTLE comedy, but is an awesome drama. Endless farting doesn't do it right, more so when the dialog is lost in the farts at KEY moments.
