Euro Millions Lottery Winner

The Spurious Squirrel

Last night, I was the winner of the Euro Millions Lottery. I won £56,300,000. This makes me the 576th richest person in the UK. Any ideas what I should do with this amount of money? I'm just to stunned to think straight.

Not to mention stupid. Why would a Euro Lottery hand out prize amounts in pounds?

He doesn't have a Euro symbol on his keyboard? Really, how many people would? How long ago did you guys adopt the Euro? Two, three years? Most people tend to keep their keyboards for some time. I know I do, at least.

Of course, I may be mistaken. =/ That said, I do agree that April Fool's threads are boring.

Because he lives in the UK, where we still use pounds.

I think the actual April Fool is that he can't be the 576th richest person in the UK with just £56 million as there must be at least 600 Russian billionaires living here now.

Charity is always a good idea... but so is a big house.

Here's a technological news flash: It's not the keyboard that sends "letters" or "symbols" to the computer, it is the computer that interprets the signals from the keyboard. So, your keyboard need not have a Euro symbol (€) for you to be able to type it. You just need to have a reasonably updated OS. So, try AltGr+E, or Ctrl + Alt + 5 (or 4, depending on your keyboard layout) or Alt + 0128 on the numerical keypad.

Yes, I know that. But I can never find any symbol combinations out no matter how much I look. The only one I ever did find out and memorize was the ™ symbol.

But yes, I see, I see. Fass, are you okay? You seem abrasive today. =/

You tended to seem like you were...kinder or something. I dunno. But if you're going to be a doctor, or even a nurse(I can't remember which one you're training as), you do need a decent bedside manner.

Nope. I thought it did. I also could have sworn Sweden was in the European Union. Don't tell me that GB wasn't the only nation in the EU that didn't adopt the Euro. =/

An online forum is a hospital and you are a dying child that needs to be coddled? Peachy.

The rest of us will just understand that people act differently on their jobs and in their lives, than they do on teh Intarwebs.
