I'm *pretty* sure this hasn't been a thread yet, but it's for the Knaves of the Reich:

QUEENSRŸCHE's new Operation: Mindcrime II album was the top seller by international acts across Japan on March 28th, landing the album at #1 on the International Daily Album Chart on it's shipping date in that country.
...
In conjunction with the April 4th release of Operation: Mindcrime II, the long awaited sequel to their 1988 magnum opus, Queensrÿche has planned a full summer/fall tour for 2006. The tour, presented by VH1 Classic, will feature a full stage show, including surround sound, new video imagery and actors playing out both parts of the Operation: Mindcrime saga. Tickets for all tour dates go on sale April 1st.

Et cetera ...
So i can honestly say i was just about giving up hope, given the nature of the past few albums (i *really* miss DeGarmo) - but i'm particularly jazzed about this.
Any comments?

Meh. "Queen of the Reich" was the only Queenryche song I ever cared for.

I'd say you gave up a little too early.

It might appear so! Yayy!
I only got to see them once, and not with DeGarmo :(
However, given this scenario, i'm gonna have to arrange another attendance.

I've seen them about 12 times now, and have met them twice after the show. They're all really down to earth guys, and pretty short... like 5'6" or so on average. I first saw them when I was 18 all the way back in 1991...
Personally, I like Stone a lot. He's not the songwriter Chris was, but he plays the old stuff with reverence and determination. I love how he and Wilton have worked things out and play... MC in particular!

Twelve times? I need to live in contigua. I only got to see them for a New Years party 2003 - Of course they rocked, but i *really* wanted to see more of the Promised Land live, and Screaming In Digital (since i think they were doing the Live Evolution tour 'round then) - i was trying to convince my wife to hang long enough to meet them, since i obviously would have loved to (i've met a few famous people by bothering them *just the right way*) - but she wasn't keen on it (it's notoriously cold and unpleasant in the wintertime in AK) and i gave up for sake of domestic tranquility. Stone does do an EXCELLENT job as per fitting the bill. One of the things i'm looking forward to in MC II.

For PL, I saw them at the Nissan Pavillion in Virginia, just outside of DC. It was like 99 degrees and 2000% humidity. Unfortunately, they played a shorter set since it was the show after one they'd just cancelled. :(
Are you in an Empire? I'm not, but I've been in the fanclub for YEARS.
For the last tour (greatest hits 1st half, Mindcrime with actors for the 2nd), I got *3rd row* tickets at the Beacon in NYC. :D
EDIT: I just got tix for 21 & 22 September in NYC.
