Ah yes, DotA, one of the single most unbalanced AoS maps out there, with 5 or 6 exceedingly powerful heroes, and the rest totally sucking.
Edit: Not to mention that the guy who made it apparently doesn't understand how damage upgrades work, since he used a die range two points larger than the ghouls for the treants.

How long since you've played? There have been many updates (most recent version is 6.29), and it's rather well balanced currently.

4.something. No one lets anyone download the maps, and I got sick of everyone picking the same heroes every time. Went over to EotA.

I believe that dota-allstars (http://dota-allstars.com/) has the current version available for download at all times. And there is an All Random mode, among many others. I haven't played EotA, but now that I'm curious I might suggest it to my lan group.
