It's simple really. His plan is to make the US such an unpleasant place to live that no one tries to sneak in anymore.
Phew! You have no idea how relieved I am to hear it...I had formed the impression that his plan to solve illegal immigration was to 'do away' with all non-Americans thus eliminating the possibility of non-Americans illegally entering and staying in the US...
