It's that time of year again...

So, what festivals are you going to? Which would you like to go to? What band are you most looking forward to?

I'm going to Download again this year (which starts on the last day of the exam period at my uni. So fingers crossed I don't get stuck with an exam on that day like I did last year). I was hoping to get a day ticket for V to see Radiohead but I wasn't quick enough.

Quite looking forward to Dragonforce, Within Temptation and Deftones. Hoping Metallica play their best stuff, and hoping Guns n Roses actually show up:p

Download, Truck, V, Reading.
Download overlaps with 2 days of my exam period, so I really am hoping I don't have an exam then. No doubt with 3 exams in 3 weeks my university can contrive to put them all on the last Friday and Saturday.
Tool are going to be the highlight, but seeing the Prodigy will be cool. Secret Machines have just been confirmed as well, so that'll be sweet. I also want to see Soulfly, Skindred and Deftones. If Opeth and Pitchshifter get confirmed that'll be so cool!

Truck, V, and Reading I'm all working at, so I don't get to see all the bands, but I do get in for free. And get paid at Truck and V.

Jimi Hendrix played the Isle of Wight, to 500,000 people. Not bad for a tiny Island on the south coast.

Hahaha. That's exactly what I singled out too. It looks pretty lame.

I guess I could stand the Foo Fighters too, particularly if they play their old stuff.
