"Don't worry honey, we'll get you out. Just move the claw a little more to the left, Jim.
"The damn things stuck. Wait...wait...easy...easy...I got him!"
"Lift him up!"
"Going...going...goddamit, he fell off! Crappy claws! Hang on, I'll get a quarter...damn, none left!"
"Don't worry sweetums, mummy and daddy will be back when we've changed up a few dollar bills..."

I wouldn't have even thought it was possible.... I wonder if the whole situation was 'staged'.

And in celebrity news, Michael Jackson was spotted in a Pizzaria in Austin, Minnesota with a bag full of quarters.

Oh, one of those machines. I was wondering why everyone was so lighthearted about it. "Claw machine" sounds like slang for lethal farm equipment or some sort of lobster pulveriser.

That's what I thought.

As it is, though, that's pretty funny.

If it's genuine, I'd assume the venue would do anything to avoid possible lawsuits... so, I'd assume the boy gets a toy.

It IS in one of the larger newspapers in minnesota

I thought it might be staged at first but they normaly do an alright job of making sure before they publish
