Hi, all.
I notice that some folks hanging around the forum get quippy captions under their names. They show up as something like:
Nationland
Look! There's a short caption describing me here!
Most peoplehave a stock "member" caption. I was just wondering how that occurs. Is there some overseeing force that adds these things without any input from the affected person, or if they are merely self-added? Is there some hybrid of those two possibilities, maybe an option for one to remove it if one does not like what that mysterious force has added?
As I have been noticing them for a while, I thought I would see what the story on them is. Many thanks for anyone with answers or hypotheses!

If you're referring to the thing under the name such as member, or in my case I think currently 'deadly,' then it's automatic with the number of posts you write. If you're referring to the location, that's done in the profile.
