Your plane has crash-landed in the desert, and only you and four other people are alive. Shoot all 4 of them, claim their possesions, use their bodies as food and wait for the rescue team in all relaxation.

Don't know what sort of calculator you're using (one with the divide and subtract buttons the wrong way round probably), but I've always expected 12/5 to equal 2.4.

I'd start a fire from the burning wreckage of the plane to get things started and then start tending to any injuries. Then the standard RTS fair: explore the area and search for resources, gather necessary resources, build defense, et cetera.

Animal Planet tells me there's life everywhere. I can gather rats, snakes, scorpions, and learn me how to say, "Crimony!" That, or ask the local Bedouin tribe where the nearest oasis is.

Good point, find a few cactae and there will be enough water for everyone. Although, I was imagining this to be in the Sahara Desert and I'm not sure if there are many there.

I'd take the water and plant water seeds. With all that sunlight, they'd grow fast! But then again, I'd need to use some of the water to water the seeds... hmm...

Use pieces of the plane to build a simple still to purify urine. Recycle religiously, while also conserving the 12 day supply as long as possible. Stay in the shade of the plane as much as possible during the day, and/or dig down under the sand where it will be cooler. Avoid strenous activity.

And hope for the best. If all that doesn't work and someone dies... recycle them.
