That's dumb. If you leapfrog between them by stepping on the skulls and pelvises you're pretty much guaranteed to avoid the landmines.

What we use here is called "role play" ( RP ). It's almost entirely textual and someone has to fulfill the role of gamesmaster ( rather like Dungeon Master in Dungeons & Dragons ). Click on the "NationStates" link at the top of this page and that will take you to the "home page" for NationStates. From there click on the "Gameplay" link. You can find one from there. M'k? :)

Alright, your going to have to go downtown. Then find the National City bank. From there you are going to start heading east. You will take three lefts, then a right, go straight for a few miles and then another right at the Amaco gas station. That will take you down a small dirt road. After a mile or two you should see a man in a yellow poncho. His name his Jock and he'll take you to the airport that will take you the rest of the way. But you have to hurry because if Indie gets there to go on his next adventure.

Several people here have given you serious instructions as to where to look for information.

No matter how old you are, I'm pretty positive you should be able to tell that information from the joke posts (hint: don't buy that ticket to Mogadishu just yet).

Really, you found you're way on here, you got registered, you posted (repeatedly even), and you told us (repeatedly even) that you just created your very own forum.

This is General: It is here that massive flamewars are conducted under the guise of legitimate conversation. They also eat Newbies like you for breakfast. Avoid this forum for a while.

To Roleplay a war, you should go to the International Incidents Forum. The Nationstates Forum above it is also for RolePlaying (RP'ing), but is for more experienced and veteran players.

Read the stickied threads at the top of the International Incidents Forum first page to get a basic understanding of how to Roleplay. You can RP as your nation's leader, conduct wars, bomb places, all the fun stuff.

But not at the moment. You're new and weak and would be flattened by any older player in an instant. So here's what you should do:

1. Go to II
2. Set up a Diplomacy Thread. Entitle it 'Welcome to [Insert Country Name Here] or somesuch, and invite other players to set up embassies in your country. This will familiarise yourself with players in II and how to conduct a basic RP.
3. Under no circumstances should you use smilies, bad spelling or grammar, or swear words. Neither should you declare war on anyone just yet or god forbid the world itself.

So, start your thread in II - Remember, good spelling - Write in the guise of your national leader or leading diplomat, and await responses. I'll wander along in a while and help you along. That should get you started. If you have more questions, ask them here or Telegram my nation, Skinny87, through the TG ability in your nations sidebar.

You seen that Serbian film No Man's Land? It's great. It's set during the conflict. Basically, there's an open bit of space between the Serbian and Bosnian lines, and in this space there's a trench. Two Bosnians end up in this thread along with two Serbians. One of the Bosnians is apparently dead, and the Serbians set a 'pop-up mine' underneath his body, which will detonate when the pressure is released. The final shot is of this man being left lying on the mine, after everyone decides there is nothing they can do to help him. Brilliant.

Through the use of Telegrams (TG's). These can be used by searching for the nations name in the 'The World' sidebar link, typing in the name of the country, and then sending a message via the Telegram box at the bottom of their nation page.

Click 'The World' and in the Search function at the bottom (Like Google) type 'Skinny87' into the 'Nation' Search Engine. When my nation page comes up, scroll to the bottom. The box at the bottom is the Telegram station. Type your message in there and it'll be sent to me.
