Do you think that God would have family troubles I mean he comes across as a staunch republican but Jesus is defiantly a communist hippy, it seems to me Jesus is like that wild child of the family, did god really send him of did he come to earth because his old man was crampin his style.

In nearly every religion conservatives get the most criticism. Christianity is at it's base socialist, maybe even communist. Jesus criticised the Pharasees and Sadducees the most. In todays USA they would be the fundamentalits like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell. People who get political and social power through religion.

God kindof seems like a lobbyist. For all the Sovereign Who Art In Heaven, it seems like God does the Behind-The-Scenes bit, and lets other people rule. In our times, leastways.
Republican lobbyist though.
Note: I'm assuming that you're referring to the Christian God here.
Some quotes ascribed to Jesus (especially the famous one referring to rich men, camels, and needles) give me the distinct impression that He would be rather socialistic, if not downright communistic, which in and of itself would probably be enough to bring Jesus (and by extension, God) into the Democratic Party.
