this is my main forum for sure... others i belong to are based around here, like Athar or the UDCP forum. also the Word Of Mouth forum (but i haven't posted there in months) and the revleft forums (ditto).
used to be a big poster on the Iron Maiden BB in my first year of uni, but their database corrupted and we all lost our accounts. going back was hard cos the layout and colours had changed, and a lot of the posters i knew had changed their names and things... it just wasn't the same, so i drifted away :(
... and came here! :D
edit: oh yeah also post on PB very, very occasionally (i'm still labelled as a noob even though i've been there for well over a year)

I've got an account with IMDB, but I hardly go on the forums at all. NS General is the only one I need.
Atari US forums (http://www.ataricommunity.com) - this fairly large forum (about 1/3 the size of Jolt in its entirety) is where I originally found NationStates; my NationStates region is almost entirely made up of other Atari forum members. If you see me ranting about "DBZ n00bs" or quoting myself as "Tarhalindur", then I'm probably mixing my forums up...
I'm also on a few smaller forums, but said forums would be of little interest to those not interested in 4X-genre computer games.
That's just creepy.
Quite. But whatever floats your boat.

No shit. I just clicked on it expecting it to be a discussion group about Edgar Allen Poe. It obviously wasn't.
I'm in this one a lot. Often less buggy than MSN and no risk of outside censorship at all
http://soxkat.com/forums/Antiwar/ - all are welcome to join - we have a few right wingers, despite the name.
I'm also here

not as large a membership as the orginal (deleted), but getting there. A good board - all welcome here too.

I belong to the Denver Broncos Forums.
hip forums, fur 2 fur, live steam, and more others then i can even count or remember to remain active in. likewise several online archive/galleries such as elfwood and vcl. i've even got some stuff on picture trail.
i'm too lazy right now to look up all the links and post them, but themnax is what i generaly go by everywhere that doesn't require my mundane name, and john teall is what that is everwhere that does.
unfortunately i don't have broadband of any sort. if i did i'd be posting animations to u-tube and spending half my life on second life.
i'm not real interested in vicariously beating anyone over the head, or even trying to impress anyone. environmentaly sustainable energy and transportation infrastructure is what does.
playing with simulations of it and making illustrations of the kind of world we could be living in if such were our priorities does as well.
and i am always interested in seeking out and finding more where such perspectives might be shaired.

I mostly just stick around here. I barely have enough free time for NS, let alone other manifestations of this so-called "fun" thing. I used to frequent the one at dinotopia.com, before the books were televised and it went downhill a bit. I find it eerie to go back, as so many of my old pals are no longer there. I do still keep up with a few via MSNMessenger, though.

I used to be a fairly active member of www.bungie.net - the 'New Mombasa' and 'The Flood' fora, but they got a bit... well, crap really, so I haven't been back in quite some time. Oddly enough since around about the time I started coming here  I still check in there every now and then, but that's only to see if anyone has posted on my fanfic thread, which they generally haven't, more's the pity. Understandable I suppose, as I haven't posted a new chapter in ages, and the writing itself is crawling along. Damn NS/college/getting in the way of me writing random fanfic.
