I read the anti drinking & driving post and I was wondering if any (or all) of you would be interested in helping me find something. Since you all contributed a link to a great ad, I was hoping y'all could find an anti heroin ad I had seen on American television a few years back.
It was a guy lying on the bathroom floor in a puddle of either vomit, urine, or...well, you get the idea! He's tweeging and convulsing and the whole time this commercial is playing there's this happy sounding little song over it that goes something like..."Heroin, Heroin, Everybody's doin' it...Heroin!"
I know my explanation probably sounds corny as hell but it really gets the point across if you watch it!

I remember that. It was effective. But it reminded me of Scott Weiland and prompted me to go out and buy a Stone Temple Pilots album. So, again, a good commercial.

That's pretty cool!!! I can honestly say that thought never crossed my mind but, nevertheless, that was interesting! When I saw it for the first time, I just remember thinking, "Damn, of all the drugs I've tried I'm certainly glad heroin was never one of them!"
That's probably only because it was never offered to me and/or wasn't readily available but still...I'm heroin free!
