That would probably get the longest non-staged standing ovation in the history of conference speeches. :D

Exactly, you don't have to live with him running your country.

He's going for the ten year milestone. I think it's very wrong that the country is being run by a man who is more interested in his own personal, artificial goal than actually doing what's best for the electorate.

Having said that, it's interesting how much the Labour Party seems to be operating 'without' him these days - it's almost as if he is no longer the leader and the party is running itself (ie NEC taking back control of party funding, Labour rebels all but ignoring the whip, people opening looking to Brown as new leader etc).

Get rid of him now. He's becoming a liability to the party.

EDIT: Become. He was a liability a long time ago.

Our news media in the states say sutch good things about him. Why is he sutch a pain in the U.K? He sounds like a smart politician. But on Cspan his address's in the Parliment are really boring. Well all the parliment is boring their are two many parties to listen too!

I don't care when he resigns as long as he does. I do care who replaces him. I do not want to spend another 20 years of my life under the bloody Tories in any shape. I think Gordon may be a bettter PM than Tony in that he is less orientated towards the US and Bush and more interested in what is happening here.

Having said all that what I really want is Permenant Revolution.:sniper: :mp5: :upyours:

He's corrupt, untrustworthy, goes against his manifesto promises, hasn't done a good job with the NHS or with education, and he's a general smarmy bastard.

And he's a Tory.

Oh, and Iraq.

Well all the parliment is boring their are two many parties to listen too!
I take it you're used to the pretty terrible two party system then?

Full term! Full term! Full term!

He is essentially bereft of credibility and respect, and derided in the media. Perfect leader for the Labour party in short, although, to be fair he has more charisma and rhetorical capacity than Gordon "interesting" Brown.

He should stick it out to the bloody end. Blair as PM makes good political drama and angst for me to watch from across the pond.
And you lot (British) deserve him after all the Hell we (Americans) are getting over Bush.
