If you were going to build a new house -- and assuming it's made of wood or stucco (something that can be painted) -- what color would you paint it?

Please vote and discuss.

Now... obviously the options are not comprehensive...

if you favor lavender, please vote Purple...

if burgundy, please vote red or brown

etc.

that paint that changes colour depending on what angle your looking at. like the rude boys use to paint their vauxhall calibra's. (same as the TVR in swordfish)

many colours = always happy

I would never build a house out of wood exterior because it wouldn't withstand the weather here very well, nor would I build a house out of stucco, I lived in one in AZ and it was crappy......not good at all.

But, I am very much in love with a house for sale down the street that is grey-ish brick with beautiful charcol blue siding...........

Everything depends on where it is and what is around it.

I like brick homes. However, if I were to paint my house I would have to pick dark green first. Although, I'm sure my boyfriend would want dark blue and we'd have to find a compromise.
