Neither. Both are only an image in a magazine, an icon for people that disagrees with reality, an evasion, a world that you will never reach, and, that they enjoy because of their self-proclammed divine right, that nobody gave to them.

On the topic - Diana probably, if only because Camilla has a face like a horse. The Royal's aren't too bad - good for the tourist trade and all, and Charle's can be amusing at times.

I bet Camilla makes for a better conversationalist, what with Princess Peroxide being a stiff and all.

Diana did do charity I've heard, but I don't relly have any reason to dislike Camilla, I don't get the bad press she got, so neither.

Diana was a spoilt whinny brat who complained when the press opposed her own pathetic self image, but was happy to use the press to portray a holier than thou false face to the public.

Camilla may not be as photogenic (putting it mildly) but her behaviour is much more appropriate to her position than Diana's ever was.

Diana was not the nice innocent shy Di that the press liked to pretend she was. After all if you were shy would you go out with the future King in the first place...doh...also she slept with a whole ton of blokes whilst she was married, some very public stupidity and poor me whiny tears got her the nations favour, but mainly people liked her because she looked good on magazine covers.....is that a good reason to like a person? She harrased men that she fancied, was a real bunny boiler, but that seems to be ok because she was good looking.

I think that Charles married Diana as a well bred brood mare for the continuation of the throne. It seems fairly plain to me that she grew up in the sort of aristocratic family that would have known damn well that is what she was, and she should have just kept her mouth shut, carried on doing the future Queen tree planting thing, got all the free clothes and jewellery like all the other royal wives down the centuries.

I feel bad for both Charles and Camilla, he was not allowed to marry the woman he loved, and so he did as he was duty bound to do and married to produce an heir. Good on them both and I hope that they can continue to be happy together. Nobody can choose who they are when they are born, it was just Charles bad luck. I wouldnt want to be saddled with the crap he has to put up with just for who his parents were...it totally outweighs the good stuff about being rich and living in a big house.

Diana - reasonably attractive, seemed quite pleasant, did some charity work. Yet people see her as a saint, some even think she should actually be a saint.

Camilla - older and less attractive, was in a relationship with charles before he met Diana, and still is. True love, obviously, yet people hate her, even though theyv never even met her.

Charles - never loved Diana but was pressured into marrying her as Camilla would have had to divorce to marry him and this was still unacceptable to his family at the time.

If all the stupid royal and religious tradition was out of the way he would have married camilla 30 years ago and everyone would have been happy.

They both married an ugly goofy-headed royal fuck-up. How great can they be?

I get very bored quickly whenever I hear about the British royals in the news, especially on the gossip that flares up about Charles's marriages. Considering that with Diana I had to hear about the British royals all the time, whereas with Camilla I get to ignore them for months. So really I don't like either of them better, but I'm annoyed by Camilla less.

Hmm, God bless Diana indeed. All the way 6-foot-under. As for Camilla.. Pfft. Boring.

I think Paris Hilton should be the next queen. Why not? She's a rich heiress with no real job. That makes her just as qualified as Camilla or Diana.

why does it have to be a contest between 2 wives? diana is dead and gone. charles has married again. can't each woman be judged on her own merits if she needs judging at all

i was just pleased to see that charles finally developed the balls (testicular implants maybe?) to marry the only woman he ever really loved. it was pathetic for him to be led around by family and public opinion rather than his own heart. even the future king of britain (etc) has the right to be happy.
