How about helping clean up and finding a load of cash?

I'm wondering how many people in NS would turn a find like this over to the home's owner and how many would keep it for themselves?

I would probably "find" less than the actual amount, and give that back

Quick thinking. Then the kindly old lady offers you a generous reward at the press conference-do you take it or be the "real" hero and decline it? This sounds like it could be a movie plot.

Hell no. I'd buy a car. Maybe put a lil more effort into cleaning, but yeah.. 30g could buy a house and a Neon around here! (not where I am but near here..) Maybe I'd donate some to charity. But heh "finders keepers!" ;)

"To see that woman's face when we told her about the money, that's the kind of positive story that makes all the hard work worthwhile," said the Rev. Warren Jones Jr. of New Salem Baptist Church in the Ninth Ward, which has served as a base for church missions. "She said it was a miracle. And when you think about it, it was."

Yeah, a miracle. A stack of cash. Right up there with the parting of the Red Sea and Jesus healing the cripples!

I'd keep it.
