I am doing some research on my family history, but I keep getting all mixed up. I can trace my father's family (the Bender family) as far back as Daniel Bender (I did find something on his father, I guess he was named Christian Bender, died in in 1822 in Girkhausen Germany). I also keep getting something about Svevish origin. I can't really find much on the Gaub family and my grandmother doesn't know anything (except that it is German). The Schramm family came from Prussia, but that's all I can find. The Wolf family is Yugoslavian, but I keep finding German and English Wolfs, not Yugoslavian. If any one knows anything, please let me know.

None that I know of, but my Leland Bender (my grandfather) married Carol Gaub (my grandmother, duh), and her father was alcoholic.
