Was hat Merkel dann getan, zum Beispiel?

Up to now there is not a single piece of correct german in this thread...why not remove it to spam where it belongs...

Edit: beat me to it again, Laerod :p

Merkel sucks. Period.
She may be able to hold her ground on international red carpets, but when it comes to real politics, esp. domestic, she does not show enough profile, letting her underlings set agendas, while she worries about the state of german fussball.

But what else would you expect from a pseudo-conservative opportunist?

The only good thing I can say about Ferkel, oops, I mean Merkel, is that she is Germany´s first female chancellor - and I dare say it´s not her merit.

There, I saw it...a godwin...how cute. Only because some people show off by using a rather bad translation program (even with very minor linguistic skills you can still see the original grammar peeping through in the OP) and getting reprimanded for it automatically makes a na...what was it you wanted to say. Perhaps you should take some classes in politics...or behavioral sciences.

Und ja, ich bin durchaus in der Lage korrektes Deutsch zu sprechen und zu schreiben, erwarte aber nicht das andere dies zwingend beherschen...go look up your dictionary

Yoda being sarcastic.

Correct spelling and grammar is important. Excessively correcting other people's mistakes looks stupid. There has to be some compromise in between...

On another note, I have heard we are stereotyped to practice alerting others to their mistakes as a national sport, second in importance only to soccer and beer. :p

I have now walked a mile in your shoes, and boy do my feet stink. Before criticizing a man, it is best to walk a mile in his shoes. That way, you're a mile away and you have his shoes.

Ich mag die olle Zippe einfach nicht und konnte sie noch nie leiden. Allerdings kann ich's echt kaum abwarten, daß wieder Wahlen sind und Matze Platze seine Chance bekommt und hoffentlich nutzt!

And please, go mutilate your own language some more before you start with your feeble attempts at communicating in German, ja?

Und nein, ich bin auch nicht für´s Geli aus der Uckermark zu haben...auch die Typberatung hat da nicht viel genutzt...schwarz steht ihr einfach nicht, oder ist das die Trauer über die gewonnene Wahl?

No, apparently it's not.

Isn't weird that my mind read that as "Is spelling and correct grammar not important in English?"
