Yep, it was in the UN forum before the switch to jolt - a thread about asteroid defence where I advocated railguns, I think.

Use the search function in the list of tabs under the Nationstates logo. You can search for all posts made by your nation, or any other nation.

First post under a different nation was about 5 months ago, on the topic of Rwanda.

Back when the weight of general would crash the forums, when it was visited by the 'Nazi of the month' and when moderators where a new concept. I was there for the revolution, the migration to the 'other' forum, when word games where legal...

I think it was a debate on abortion. Though I was logged in with my previous nation Oceles at the time.

It was some FT roleplay that I hadn't been invited to but showed up in anyway, posted one thing, and got yelled at. After that I basically went to the UN forums and told everyone why their ideas were so bad.

What revolution? I like all this early history...
It was mostly because of the addition of moderators. By the time I came around it was all but over save for the crying, so I can't give you a really good assessment. I saw the last few posts from the legendary likes of Beeker and Marathon, that's about it. And I was around when Skaled-whatever/MKULTRA was known as The Red Arrow and someone had created a The Blue Arrow as a foil.

There are far better old timers still around to tell the tales than me, really. That'd be a thread unto itself.

I honestly can't recall - Jeez, I even missed my NS General 1 year anniversary...

God, yes, I absolutely remember.

I had been happily lurking for a while and just staying away from even reading the more inflammatory threads (at the time mostly on US Christians and the Republicans, so that wasn't hard) but then BAM, I let my guard down for a second and made the mistake to peek into a thread by Strasse II...
