A 9-11 site

Now I am not much for conspiracy(other than the evil freemasons):p ...but this site actually has some pretty convincing topics

http://www.loosechange911.com/

goto the evidence section..then look at the time lines and the rest...

Some noteworthy things:

1)(from the pentagon section)
A number of military personnel at the Pentagon specifically mentioned smelling cordite.

Cordite and jet fuel have two very distinct smells.

Cordite is a compound used in ammunition, which is comprised of nitroguanidine, nitrocellulose, and nitroglycerin.

It is cool-burning, produces little smoke and no flash, but produces a strong detonation wave.

And, eyewitnesses described a bright, silvery flash.

Jet fuel combustion, i.e. the planes that struck the Twin Towers, is bright yellow at best...

And is it merely coincidence that the Pentagon was hit in the only section that was recently being reinforced to withstand that very same kind of attack

2)from oddities(which is a nice little section)

Why? Because none of those calls could have possibly taken place.

Kee Dewdney of Physics911.net conducted some research of his own. In an experiment called Project Achilles, he took a series of cell phones onto a Cessna 172 and flew up to 8,000 feet.

At 4,000 feet he had a .4 success rate.

At 8,000 feet he had a .1 success rate.

For 32,000 feet, cruising altitude for a commercial airliner, he calculated a .006 success rate, less than one in a hundredth of a chance.
Don’t believe me? Even American Airlines has put their foot in the government’s mouth.

On July 15th, 2004, passengers aboard a commercial American Airlines flight were able to send and receive calls from their cell phones as if they were on the ground, thanks to a cell station that was installed into the plane.

"It worked great, I called the office. I called my wife. I called a friend in Paris. They all heard me great, and I could hear them loud and clear."

Why would American Airlines spend thousands of dollars on this technology in 2004 when cell phones worked so well on September 11th, 2001

that refers to the "calls" made from the planes that day...

Now, I am not endorsing anything that site says I just want to show everyone this, im sure some have seen it...but yeah some intresting stuff..also to note...several "facts" have clickable text links to them...just run the mouse over them...discuss the facts and so on...

Video of the explosion shows an orange "fireball" type explosion consistent with jet fuel, not a "silvery flash".

Can we just stop with the bullshit 9/11 conspiracy sites? They've been debunked numerous times and this is just getting old.

My problem with it is that some folks are too lazy or too credulous to look up the facts for themselves, see a thread like this and end up buying into the bullshit. It almost makes me wish that free speech wasn't so free.

False analogy. There was actual evidence that the US faked the attack on the ship in the gulf of tonkin. There is no actual evidence for the wacky 9/11 conspiracy theories.

We didn't hear any of this evidence till about 30 years later long after congress was happy to give Johnson full powers to go to war. CIA and other orginisations are better today. If historys tought me anything, don't rule out the possibility, especially when governements use incidents like this to forward their own policies.

Eyewitnesses also described a passenger jet crashing into the building.

Burning jet fuel can't melt the type of steel that was supposedly in the twin towers. Instead of dismissing an idea, refute it, people.

Jeez...who the hell cares anymore...something caused the Twin Towers to be destroyed and the US has been fucked up ever since.

what was their theory on the calls? there was no need to fake ANY calls, so why would that be in the plan?

surely someone credible has addressed this on the net.

maybe its because they werent flying at high altitude when the calls were made

Normally, I would never reply to a poster with 3 posts but...

ARE YOU ON SMACK?!?!?

If there's anybody with a TV on the planet that didn't see the second plane hit the tower about 200 times, I'd be shocked.

Next, the steel in ANY building will melt at a high enough temperature.... especially once all the PAPER, WOOD, CARPETS, DRYWALL, etc. starts to burn. Most buildings become kilns if you can start a large fire fast enough.

Re: mobile phones operating in the plane. The planes were flying at a low enough altitude to hit a building. Presumably, people used their mobile phones within the building at the same altitude. Ergo, the passengers could use theirs too.
