You're turning to the dark side...Oooooohhhh.....

Joking aside, having there been any major changes in your life as of recently? How old are you?

1-800-Psychiatrist.

Try it, you might need help (or it might be a stage?)

Try to go to your school counselour, but tell her to treat the matter seriously and not think your some "weirdo".

Yeah, that happens to everyone. It's called "you're not in high school anymore and the real world sucks". Just wait til you're out of college and you feel a "lump", then freak out trying to feel another one on the other side of your body. (since, if you have a pair, then it's not cancer!)

Everyone gets disillusioned with themselves, the world, and religion/god to some degree or another. You're just on the extreme end of the "reality check-o-meter."

tell your parents you are sick and need to go to the doctor, when you get in to see the doctor bring a list of everything that you think has changed (or print out your original post in this thred) and they will be able to tell you if you need more help (like from a psychiatrist or psychologist).

they are going to ask you a lot of questions, about your intrest in activity, how long you have felt this way and what you think caused it, you need to be prepared to get pretty in depth with your primary care doctor so that they can decide what type of help you need.

Sounds like you've started to re-examine your core beliefs and self-perception. It can be a scary and difficult time as you really think for the first time about who you are and why you do what you do. A friend of mine got so troubled by it she couldn't sleep. She suffered from insomnia for a week, then got together those of us that knew her and had a long talk about what had been bothering her, then left college for that semester.

My advice is for you to calmly try to examine yourself. Even if you aren't really trying to, it's going to happen, so you might as well try to take as much control as you can.

Mm, time for another exorcism. You've been possessed. *whips out the Bible*

Just kidding. I recommend visiting a psychiatrist if these negative thoughts don't begin to fade away.

I had many of the same things happen to me, and I came out of it an atheistic sociopath. I haven't looked back since and can't believe what a self-righteous, and yet so naive, asshole/moron I was back then.

I've always wondered where that logic comes from, and yet it always seems to make perfect sense when your doing it.

you don't have to, but if I were you I would.

There is a 50/50 chance that the doctor will say "you are under a lot of stress, chill out, otherwise you are okay", so it's not all bad news, then there is the other 50% chance that he will say "whoa dude, major stuff, you need to talk to a specialist"

I mean it's not like you are insane or anything (at least I don't think so) you just might have problems that you need help with.

besides, if you live in the US (not sure about other countries) then whatever you tell your doctor is between you and the doc, so you know it's not like your parents will find out, basically they don't even have to know why you got refered to another doctor other than something general like "stress", and unless you are going to hurt someone they might not even need to know that.

Well, I can't do that, but I can say:

Lay off the alcohol and caffine, smoke a little pot, watch some stand up comedy, and become an apathetic agnostic.

Removing alcohol and caffine completely for a while can seriously improve your health, especially is you are having trouble sleeping and are feeling stomach/head/general pain or soreness. A little pot will calm you mind down, and watching some comedy while your at it will lighten your spirits and keep your mind from racing.

And becoming an a.a. is just my way of saying you put too much stock and worry into religion, but you probably shouldn't listen to an atheist on that part.

No. Do NOT smoke ANYTHING. AT ALL. It will just make it worse and get you addicted.

Go to the psychologist.

it was cloaked figures dancing all around me..they were chanting...at first what i presume was latin...then the looked at me and started chanting "Dahmer, Hitler, Mason" then they said something about the "new death" coming....

What if I said that I thought you were a melodramatic narcassist who is desperate for attention?

If those dreams are real, then your brain is pretty corny.

The guy seems psychologically vulnerable right now. I wouldn't risk it, even with pot.

If you take a lot over long periods of time, then yes. I think they're just advising him to try some.

I agree with Zanato, though: not when he's this crazy.

I've had several dreams that included laugh tracks/sound tracks, so I can personally attest that one's unconcious minds can develop an inexplicable desire to ham it up.

Why do you want to take it ANYWAY?

Besides, he's in no condition to do things like that at this time, and I suggest he never does. If only for the sake of not being hunted down by police.

Zilam, go to a psychologist.

Well, it is clear what version of reality you subscribe to. The "drugs are bad, m'kay" school of thought. I happen to completely disagree. A little marijuana acts as a mild sedative and mood elevator. In other words, it will calm him down, and ease his depression. More effective than xanex, or a typical antidepressant, which does cause dependance, both physical and psychological.

Yeah, but "Dahmer, Hitler, Manson"? Surely his brain could come up with more symbolic villians than that. I think mine would go with Oscar the Grouch, the Flying Monkeys from the Wizard of Oz, and Beetlejuice.

His post says Mason, not Manson...perhaps he's part of a Masonic conspiracy!

you need to take care of the headaches and passing out. you need to see a doctor about it. its probably something like bad diet but there are serious problems that would have the same symptoms in early stages

the rest is either symptoms of whatever is making you pass out or hormones. some people have a rougher time passing into adulthood than others. theres more than just the sex stuff that everyone thinks of.

so go get it sorted out. and cut yourself some slack on the confusing feelings, youll figure it out over time.

Umm... yeah. I'm not addicted to it, but the stuff is addictive.I don't find it addictive, it mostly depends how much you smoke it.I am of the opinion that while there are obviously addictive drugs,it is the addictive personality that causes the most problems and if you're not sure if you have that type of personality do not try it,especially when you're young.

You should try eating chocolate because that makes people happy but I suggest you go see a doctor before this gets to be a serious problem.

Really what is wrong with me? I tried to take time away to reorganize myself...But i only found out that I am a horrible person...:(

I have these these horrible thoughts..I lust for power, and greed. I want nothing more than people to know who I am, and for them to love me...maybe even fear me. This comming from a kid that wanted nothing more than to serve people, someone that loved all and would do anything for someone else... Why this change in me now?

Also, I have began to notice a decrease in my physical health, ie getting sick more often. Having headaches, passing out etc...

but the stuff that reall scares me is the fact that I am having resentment towards God...Which i don't want to have..and i have tried to repent..but its not working!...I blame him for stupid things too..Like why must people suffer? I know the answers...but i still resent him...
Did I mention i am having night mares galore as well? All about death....scary ones...realistic too..the other night i became ill and passed out at work..i remember waking up around 3 am at home in bed, all sweaty and scared from the dream i just had...it was cloaked figures dancing all around me..they were chanting...at first what i presume was latin...then the looked at me and started chanting "Dahmer, Hitler, Mason" then they said something about the "new death" coming....
I am totally wtf'ed out...i have no clue anymore on what to do...I know i am not crazy...i mean....shoot...its me! help?!?

don't know about the other stuff but bold = welcome on the road to atheism. smile and embrace it :D i went through some weird shit when i began to loose my faith including hallucinations but not nearly as vivid as yours.
