I finally got around to finishing the sequel to Mousing About.

Mousing About 2 has another 10 levels to annoy you, and has the added dimension of distracting backgrounds in some levels. I hope you like!

Up to level 8...some of the levels seem easier than on the first game, but level 8 is fucking difficult. Just hope I remember the password...

I gave up on level four after many attempts of eye-straining concentration going to failure...

I win, haha! That's what you get for spending £45 on a 2000dpi laser mouse, and £20 on a mousepad!

Ok...so do I go and spend £65 on mouse equipment just so I can finish the game, or do I stay with my trusty laptop touchpad? Touchpad wins.

Touchpads are like combing a procupine's quils with a toothbrush. I got some crappy mouse I permanantly borrowed and an old newspapper. Beat that!

I had to go out and buy an optical mouse so I could test it. My old ball mouse kept sticking and I was constantly dying and swearing a lot.

Heh. I completed the first game with a touchpad as well.

I got to level eight before the game annoyed me so much that I stopped. Good job. :)

Millimetres! I'm not kidding, that's how far I was from completing level 8, then I pressed the touchpad a little too hard, and it interpreted it as a click! Noooooo!!!!

It's much more fun to go through all the levels. They get harder as they go on, so it's better to go through 7 levels to get to the 8th, than jump straight in at the 8th.

I'm just surprised someone hasn't posted the full list of passwords as yet. I did a vague attempt at a puzzle game once, there were only a few ways to solve it was was meant to be very simple - more of an interactive animation than a puzzle really. But someone posted the solution 5 minutes after I'd mentioned it. Which I think probably spoiled it for some, cause you got slightly different results in the animation depending on how much of the code you got right.

As soo as i saw level six i got a headache and dizzy.. i got so damn close and bam hit the wall

Yeah, I remember that. I managed to go through every different animation, in order. Either fluke, or I'm just stupid.

Noooo!!! I can't remember the password to level 10 :( I remember level 9, but I don't want to have to do that one again.

There's a good cheaty way to get through 9 easily. Right click and you'll get a useless menu, but it'll give you your normal cursor back as well as the white blob. You wont be able to get rid of the cursor again till you refresh, but you'll know where you are and can then do 9 in a few seconds, get the password for 10 and right it down before you refresh

I've had requests to go back and add passwords into the original game. A good idea? Or would it be a waste of time?

Level 10 is scary.

I've been really pleased by the feedback to this game. I put a lot of work into Anim-Al and it's nice to think it's appreciated.

I've just started work on adding in another section to the site, but it's going to take me a while to sort. I doubt there's going to be any more games in the next couple of months, manly as I want to do more with some of the characters. We've not done anything with the weatherman for ages and we've had some new ones written for a long time, probably something more with the pirate as well.
