I've got a bad cough right now... I felt like I was coughing my lungs up all night, it was very annoying and seriously scared my cat.

Are there any household remedies you know of that will help with coughs?

I just usually smoke another Pall Mall and beat my lungs back into submission.

Heh. I never considered starting smoking as a rememdy against coughs...

I've found that tea with a little lemon seems to help sometimes.

Hot tea with honey and lemon. Although that might just be for a sore throat. I can't remember. I think it works for coughs too.

It does if you up the honey, I use it when I get sick.

I'll have you know that my fav cookbook is the Pooh Cookbook with just about everything in it calls for honey.

Hmm... Honey hot chocolate sounds really good right now, actually.

Honey is funny stuff. Doesn't go off like most liquids do.

I just dip my fingers in the jar or spoon it out. Great, easy to burn energy also when working out. *nods*
