Well, in the short-term he did indeed. The German economy was booming from rearmament, although in the long-term it would have suffered.

The USSR would still be around...maybe.
Racism and Prejudice would have continued and would probobly be around today. OH WAIT!!! (i mean MORE racism and prejudice.)
Germans would develope a nasty twitch from being doormats, lets face it, we were so uberly wrong to do that after WW1.

And if it wasnt hitler, itd be some other dude.
Possibly one with half a braincell devoted to tactics.

Of course he did. Just because he did some horrible things too doesn't mean we should immediately consider everything he did or thought to be "wrong" or "evil".

I've got one. His emphasis on war and conquest spurred the German scientists to build the first cruise missile and ballistic missile.
