Voltaire once said, "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." With this in consideration, which is worse: complete free speech where Nazis and bigots can walk down the street expressing their standpoints or a censored society?

tolerating intolerance is not tolerance.
being intolerant towards intolerance is not intolerance.

censoring people who advocate censorship is not censorship.

In a society that isn't censored nazis can walk around spouting anti-semitic slogans etc. But don't forget that people can follow those nazis around shouting anti-nazi slogans.

But which would you offend you more if you heard it:
"Kill the blacks!"
OR
"Nazis are dumb, go to hell!"

Also, the rising tensions between whoever may be involved can lead to violence.
