I love to go around forums and talk about my genitalia

If you know what I mean.

But seriously people, your sexual frustrations are none of our* concern. We* all know you're a cranky homosexual or a very open-minded hetrosexual (aka "bisexual") and we* don't want to hear about your sexual escapades. Unless they end in horror of course. This is a political debate forum, if you want sex talk, go to a place called sex talk.

"Bisexual"?

The hell? I hate it when people do that. I hate it when people on either side seem to think that bisexuals can't possibly exist, that we're just confused or something. We do exist, you know. Contrary to your idiotic belief, bisexuality is a real fact. Just look up bonobos. Bisexuality exists, and I, like many other bisexuals, find your portrayel of us offensive.

Look chum, I've been here long before you and reading TOPICS BY SHEER ACCIDENT isn't clicking on them to examine everyone's sexual fantasies. Back then it wasn't a sex forum, it was normal chatter about nothing. Funny how you reply first.

EDIT: Read my post and then comment. "Very open minded hetrosexuals". Absorb the words of that sentence, let it sink in and then start thinking about replying. When asking a hetrosexual if he ever done a guy, and replies with "yes", is concluding he might be bisexual wrong? Or if he says, "yes, and I'm very open minded"? Concluding the same thing?

No I went off-topic on the suicide question... Anyways, why not discuss normal subjects? There's more to life than sex. And by normal I mean, you know, normal things.

Would any of you go to work and school and say "hi! today, according to my log, I masturbated 39 times." I don't think so. Why not act here the way you act in real life, that would make NS so much more easy going.

PS: what's wrong with suicide? I try it daily but I keep failing.

And, pray tell me, being 20-24 and already put at work at a hospital ánd nightshifts too? I don't think the numbers add up my poor friend, since a medical education usually takes many years (given the fact that you've graduated at 17, which is the average age).

You need to learn how to respond to the proper person. You do know that medical studies become almost purely clinical after a few years, no?

I'm not impressed, and I don't envy sad people who have an average of 21 posts per day. The fact you people had sex (which cannot be verified in any possible way, mind) kind of amazes me.

I'm glad to hear that. It's really not that hard, finding someone to have sex with if you're a guy looking for guys. There's always someone out there who's up for a shag.

HP still wins, as he has a life.

People on NS have lives?!?

Suppose 18 years as graduation.

19-23: university

24: start working.

Nah, they just go to other places when there aren't any good threads on NS. Like work and school and that. They don't really have lives. Honest.

I have an asexual friend. They're just as fun to be around as anyone else... just not as fun having one for a girl/boyfriend, I guess.

I don't believe all that much in it, but if that's what they say they are, so be it. It's just something I'd never wish upon anyone. No offence.

Isn't med school like graduate school? You don't finish until you are like 26 and even then you are only an intern or something. Have to work a LONG time to get any responsibilites.

Could be wrong though, only time I see anything medical is from watching Scrubs. :D

Kyro-whatever, stop lying. You don't have a girlfriend, you can't afford batteries and your right hand has a nasty rash. Stop pretending you're someone, because you aren't.

Deal?
No. Because I am someone. You are also someone. We're all people. What we choose to do with our lives should not determine our "worth." What is worth, anyway, other than that which we percieve?

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going out on my date.

Heh, me neither, but then again I don't get heterosexuality either.

And, who am I to force her to realize just how fun sex is?

Our system here is different, but it sort of goes like this: 18-19 - 21-22, theoretical medicine. 22-25, clinical medicine, during which you basically work as a "doctor," but as you said, have no outright responsibilities, apart from learning. That is however a truth with modification, as we get used as cheap (read: free) labour a lot - doing what our supervisors think is boring, like regular exams, and ordering tests, turfing patients to other wards, paper work... I'm not complaining - I'm learning a lot about how hospitals work that way, and am getting tonnes of experience.

I also work as a nurse when I can to earn a little extra money.

That sounds like a hell of a lot to fit into 24 hours? How do you get time for, well, anything?

Well, after a few years you get to look forward to torturing newbies yourself. ;)

not all that different from here...particularly the bolded part. Does Sweden have a law about how many hours an intern can work the floor, by any chance?

There is an EU directive that we haven't implemented yet, but Swedish domestic law is quite flexible, as long as you get break periods and such... and it's really never all that obscenely much, so I haven't heard of anyone bitching to authorities, exactly. Although, it is seen as poor show if you did...

I know the US finally implimented one because interns were falling asleep on the job and things like that...my dad was one before the law was passed, and said if you complained, that was fine. They would just make sure to work you like a horse and still make sure you had to do another year of it by failing you.

Planning, and multitasking. At the moment I'm doing the laundry, posting here, reading an article about prostate cancer, sending e-mails to the other members of the board, of which I am part, of the local Medical Student Association, and paying bills. :\

Heh. That's kind of how it goes. ;) Here, the hospitals are run by the government, so it would be weird if they failed you for running to the government, but you would probably face difficulties with the staff nevertheless.

haha...ah yes, I forgot that you have government run healthcare over there... I guess it used to be almost like a hazing ritual...if you could survive internship, you can survive anything kinda thing.

My dad did used to enjoy saying his pay for 2 weeks, skip a few meals, and be able to take his date out to a movie (only if they went dutch...otherwise he had to skip alot of meals:p )
